Hey peeps! My name is Bre and I'm a first year dental student living in LA. The dream is to open up my own bakery & serve Jesus by fixing people's teeth. That is, after I pay off all my loans. Maybe these can go hand-in-hand? Only God knows :)
This blog is a collection of my thoughts, recipes, and everything in between. One of the main reasons I first started it (in 2012) was to keep a record of all the recipes I made, so later I don't have to go crazy looking for it. But recently, since I now have a kitchen in my apartment, I've been baking a lot more. So my once private blog is now public! The thought of this kind of scares me but I'm glad I can finally share yummy recipes with everyone. I hope that they turn out to be just as delicious, if not more if you try them! I'm not a professional, just a girl who loves to bake and cook. Feel free to use your creative juices to tweak things however you'd like.
This blog has also been a way for me to write down how God is working in my life. I believe in Jesus and I believe that He sent His one and only Son to die on the cross for our sins. And I believe Jesus died and rose again. And now I live, as a testimony to the amazing grace and mercy and power of Jesus Christ my Lord. It's because of this sacrifice that I am able to live without fear of death, but now with a new life. I am a complete sinner, but I have been redeemed by my loving Lord, who calls me His daughter and loves me.
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
